One timeline

Different start times,
the same moment aligned.

SyncCut finds matching audio patterns while preserving real recording offsets. You can verify the alignment directly from the waveforms.

How it works

Audio synchronization in three steps.

  1. Choose videos of the same event

Choose at least two videos with shared audio, such as the same conversation or clap. Different recording start times and resolutions are fine.

  2. Find recording offsets from audio

After the security check, start synchronization to upload the videos and compare their audio patterns on the server. Check the alignment in multiview when analysis finishes.

  3. Use the timestamps in your editor

Download a TXT report from Export for placement and overlap timestamps relative to the earliest video. ZIP rendering is also available if you need video files.

  • Use MP4, MOV, or WebM files. Preview and analysis support also depend on the video and audio codecs inside the file.
  • Use originals with shared audio. If you compress them first, keep the audio and do not change playback speed.
  • Both per-file and combined size limits apply. Videos exceeding server processing limits may also be rejected.
  • Keep this tab open until upload and analysis finish. Upload time depends on file size and your connection.

Help

Frequently asked questions

Are my videos uploaded as soon as I select them?

Selection and previews use videos on your device. Server upload begins after you start synchronization. Appearing in the file list does not mean an upload has completed.

What if synchronization fails or looks wrong?

Check that each video contains enough shared audio. Silence, heavy noise, repetitive music, or no overlapping scene can make analysis difficult. Results are estimates, so verify both sound and picture in multiview.

What is the difference between TXT and ZIP?

TXT contains original synchronization timestamps and saves without extra video transfer or rendering. It does not include splits or deletions. ZIP contains edited individual MP4s, with gaps and deleted ranges filled with black video and silence.

Can I click the logo or refresh the page?

The logo returns to a fresh upload screen. Selected videos and editor state reset, so download any TXT or ZIP you need first. To stop a server job in progress, use the on-screen cancel button when available.
